Excaliber Excaliber is a 6X6 wheel drive robot platform with a very flexible and terrain mapping chassis. As can be seen from the photos is has 6 wheels and 6 motors hence the 6X6 this provides the robot with loads of power and a lot of grip and control over the terrain underneath it. Excaliber is fully autonomous robot, it's still in construction but I intend it to have multiple ranging systems so it knows what's around it with hitting it first. An onboard LCD for displaying it's thoughts and what it's found out about it's environment, a serial communication port will also be included in the robot for two main reasons. First is so that I can talk to it from my PC and thus control some of it's movements if necessary and I can give it information about it's surroundings. The second thing it's for is so that the robot can talk to other robots that I have built.
